Managing this blog and keeping the technology up to date is too much trouble. I've migrated to a turn-key blog over at Tumblr.com. It's a great service.

My current blog is here.

It was brought to my attention twice this week that I have a myspace page. I was unaware. Apparently I signed up for myspace in August of 2004 (3 years ago). I didn't fill out my profile. I didn't put any information on it. And I never returned. I had no idea.

Walk the Line was a good movie, but I've never seen an original performance by Johnny Cash. Here is an excellent show of Johnny Cash at San Quentin prison. It's part concert and part documentary about the inmates. I liked it.

Upcoming Events:
» Feb 10-11: Motorcycle Expo in Syracuse
» March 5-10: Spring Break cruise around Mexico!
» March 16-18: Boston for St. Patricks Day
» April 27-30: L.A. for Coachella and Price is Right
» May 5: Cinco de Mayo!

I am very excited that I found out about the Toronto Poetry Slam. I can't make the next one on the 14th, but the following slam I am attending.

I buy and sell motorcycles all the time. But today I picked up a bike I have been lusting over for years. The rare, and highly sought after Honda v65 Magna. These bikes were the original true muscle bikes, and in 1985 it was the fastest production motorcycle ever built. And now I have one :). Here is mine. Great mechanical shape, needs a good cleaning and polish, but definitely a solid bike. A perfect end to an awesome week.

I know I already mentioned the new El-Producto album, but it is monsterous. Here is a live performance of "The Overly Dramatic Truth" which is in my top two. The sound levels are all out of whack, but it's great non-the-less. The Smithereens Video was just released through the New York Times too. Awesome video.

Happy St. Patty's Day

I spent St. Patty's day in Boston with an amazing group of people. The lines were long and the cover charges were huge but we had nothing short of an incredible time. We met all sorts of new people and spent the whole weekend bouncing around Boston. Boston has such great St. Patty's culture, the entire city was a riot.

Spring Break Was Intense!

Our cruise was incredible. 67 New Yorkers all met up in New Orleans to cruise across the Gulf to Cozumel and Costa Maya Mexico. The food was excellent. They cleaned our room and made our beds twice a day. The beaches were a bit rocky in Mexico, but I'm letting it slide.

Our ship had hundreds of college kids on it and it was a very rowdy bunch. If you weren't there with us you really missed out.

It's interesting how spring break provides such a solid reminder of each year passing. It's a bit bitter sweet. I look forward to it all year, have a blast, then repeat. The anticipation is almost as fun as the actual trip (not really though).

Within 4 years from my graduation this May I would like to be purchasing a property like this one. I know I can do it. 6,000 square feet, 5.5 baths, 9 car garage, waterfront, elevator, pool, hot tub, steam room, class. It'll be worth the effort. These are going to be big years for me. Very exciting times.

I haven't seen Little Shop of Horrors in years. I would really like to see it again soon. Not the 1960's original, but the mid 1980's remake with Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. It's such a classic.

For many months I have been thinking of buying a large world map to put up on my wall so that when I hear of an interesting place I would like to visit I can mark it down. I've casually looked for a map that looked good online and on eBay but haven't had much luck. Today I found one. While waiting to make copies at Office Depot I found that they sold large world maps. Huh. Who would have thought? I can't wait to have North and South America filled with little dots and annexed notes. Intercontinental motorcycle trip here I come!

A guy in Portugal buys a plot of 15 acres. In the back between the trees he finds and old barn with a lock that is all rusted shut. He cuts and off and inside finds. . . . about $30 million dollars worth of classic cars. What are the chances? Amazing.

To say that El-p's new album I'll Sleep When You're Dead will be the greatest album to hit store shelves in 2 years would be an understatement. Not to mention that the list of guest appearances is intimidating. Lands March 20th. I may have heard a sneak preview.)

A limo picks up 18 of us at my apartment tonight to take us to the Taint concert downtown. Nothing but class for us!

I've woken up many mornings with lingering dreams and thought of writing them down to remember them. This morning I did it for the first time. I also drew a few pictures of what it looked like to help me remember.

Dreaming is caused by Dimethyltryptamine, a psychedelic substance created in your body to keep your brain alive while your body shuts down during sleep. It is illegal to possess or use dimethyltryptamine in the United States. Ironic.

For the past week (and apparently this coming week as well), western New York has been a barren wasteland of ice, snow and wind.

The cold has transformed the 1st floor of our apartment to a drafty winter closet for coats and hats that is only occasionally visited to get soup from the kitchen.

I've accumulated quite a few points on the Red Cross's Points for Pints system. However, the prizes aren't very good. I'm supposed to help save lives because it makes me feel good and is a general help to humanity, but really I just want the sweet sweet prizes (of which there are none). The swag ranges from band-aids, to a t-shirt, to a blanket. The top prize is an autographed Sabre's hockey puck. I can't decide. I'll need a little more time to reach the puck, but I could get myself a nice red stuffed dog, or a red cross baseball hat. Hmmmm. Life is full of tough choices.

The site hasn't even been online for 1 day and Team Bullit is already taking in orders!

Today I made an amazing pot of potato soup! Should serve me well all week. :)

Also, I made teambullit.com to sell t-shirts inspired by The Bullit on The OC. It's legit. If you order, you shall receive.
